Job Opportunities
Two 36 months postdoctoral research fellowships are available starting 1st of September 2013. (A later start date may also be acceptable if required.)
The position is to work within the Warwick Stochastic Analysis group, directed by Professor Martin Hairer, and funded by the Philip Leverhulme trust.
The University of Warwick's Mathematics Department is one of the UK's leading research departments. It hosts many world-class research groups covering a broad spectrum of mathematical subjects and fosters a stimulating yet relaxed research atmosphere.
Candidates should have experience of, and strong research potential in some of the following areas: stochastic analysis, stochastic PDEs, harmonic analysis, probability theory, quantum field theory.
Candidates should send a CV, list of publications, and three letters of recommendation (email is sufficient for the letters of recommendation) to Georgina Copeland. Candidates are also encouraged to send a research statement and a small selection of reprints / preprints or part of their PhD thesis as appropriate.
